Create a Rover with Working Electronic Circuits
The Snap Circuits RC Rover kit comes with over 30 pieces to create a remote-controlled rover and other devices. It features a plastic rover body unit that includes large, treaded plastic wheels, and a handheld remote control unit with antennae, both of which are used to create several different versions of a remote-controlled rover.
The kit includes snap wires, slide switches, electrodes, and other pieces that snap together easily on the included plastic grid–no soldering required. Each piece is numbered and color-coded to make identifying them easy. Children can follow illustrated directions to create working circuit boards that power the rover and other projects.
Simple, Fun Projects Let Kids Learn While They Play
With its easy-to-follow instructions, Snap Circuits gives your child a hands-on education in how electrical circuits work to run their rover and the everyday devices that they’re familiar with. They’ll also gain valuable lessons in building and in following instructions.
The project manual starts out with instructions for creating a rover with a working LED headlight, and features several other rover configurations. Kids can also put together a rotating light, a generator, a saltwater detector, and other devices.
